Sr Manager/GM - Corporate Affairs - Pharma

Position: Senior Manager/General Manager- Corporate Affairs

Minimum years of Experience required for the job: 20 + years in Corporate Affairs/ Government Relations/Policy Advocacy/External relations with proven track record (Preferably experience in Pharma sector). A team player with excellent network, communication skills, analytical ability and knowledge of Government processes and procedures.

Reports to: Global Head - Corporate Affairs

Dimension:

- Work closely with stakeholders within the organization and Government establishments (Centre & States) and related bodies, to protect the interest of the organization.

Job Profile:

- Help identify issues, proactively follow the policy changes and their impact on business.

- Help in strategizing the way forward to address the issues and concerns, and help in protecting the interest of Organization.

- Identify opportunities and help in creating the action plan to leverage the same.

- Proactively gather real time and advance information from Key Ministries, Multilateral Agencies, Embassies in India, Indian Embassies abroad and Industrial Associations.

- Follow-up activity to reinforce view/position (policy advocacy) in sectoral indigenous and global platforms/bodies.

- Perusing a multipronged engagement to catalyze direct and indirect interventions with an objective to mitigate issues. The process involves consistent exchange and consultations with all stakeholders (both internal and external) including various departments, country/regional heads etc.

- Leveraging G2G Global platforms to influence and address country specific impediments due to local policy/regulatory environment in key markets.

- Position at various leadership roles in the Industry Associations/ Chambers.

- Analyzing & Interpreting Trade Agreements/Policy documents and implications thereof

External: All the key and relevant Ministries/ Departments, Organizations/ Trade Bodies and Associations, Export Promotion Council, Multilateral Agencies etc.
