The ideal candidate should have 7-8 year experience of doing business in India and particularly in Delhi/ Mumbai with an on hand financial, accounting, payroll and tax consulting experience. The candidate should be well aware with laws & regulation in India on financial consulting and management as per Indian GAAPs including laws & procedural requirement related to Direct Tax, Indirect Tax, Service Tax, and International Tax, Company law, Foreign Exchange Management Act, Foreign Direct Investment & RBI regulations and Personnel benefits. The candidate should possess minimum 4 years of experience of providing consulting services and managing multinational companies and foreign clients including but not limited to UK and USA companies having business & operations in India. This experience and skills will enable the candidate to manage Company and its clients Indian requirements.
Candidate will relish the opportunity of gaining exposure in a number of areas. Whilst sometimes the activity may be purely management of clients accounting & payroll, reporting and consulting team, at others it will be dealing with members from overseas clients/ prospective clients of the Company.
Basic professional qualification could be Chartered Accountant. With an additional qualification of MBA finance will be preferred. Previous history of managing national team of financial & tax accountants, company secretarial staff and consultants is must.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Financial, Accounting and Payroll Consulting service management:
- Managing, supporting and expanding financial consulting delivery team including payroll & accounting service team
- Management and reviewing clients accounting and payroll back office functions
- Strict adherence and improvements to clients delivery processes in accounting, payroll and tax services
- Providing hands on support to Sr. Manager Finance and Director of Financial Consulting for expansion of Financial Consulting services
- Managing on boarding process of setting up operations/ local office in India e.g Company/ liaison office/ branch office/ project office
- Managing service delivery team on Foreign Exchange Management Act, Foreign Direct Investment regulations and Reserve Bank of India regulations related to setting up operations in India, routine accounting & payroll and compliance management of foreign companies having Indian subsidiaries
- Managing direct and indirect tax regulatory compliances of foreign companies having Indian subsidiaries
- Constant monitoring of clients deliverables, compliances and reporting to senior management
- Managing clients feedback and queries
Job Description: Sannam S4 - Financial Consulting
Sales & Marketing:
- Development and management of all company financial and tax newsletters and effective distribution of it to existing and potential clients
- Marketing and development of Sannams4 consulting services, attending trade shows, events, delegations and client visits in India
- Maintaining and updating client database
- High level customer relations experience
Management and Communication:
- Leading and managing Company's financial, accounting & payroll and tax consulting services as per scope of work assigned under specific client projects and ensuring effective communication with other verticals of the Company
- Overseeing performance of Sannams4 undergoing client projects and fortnightly reporting to Director.
- Vetting all client service agreements considering financial, tax and legal laws & regulations
- Regular communication and feedback to Company's business partner or alliance network
- Follow up after work completed with clients for testimonies and feedback on Sannams4 services
Accounts Management:
- Ensure up to date and accurate records of financial accounts and reporting of Sannams4 clients.
- Managing team and ensuring efficient & timely recording and maintaining accounts in respect of all transactions
- Motivated by delivering results and setting an example for other employees in the organisation
- Previous history of managing and developing national and international clients accounting, tax & reporting services
- Experience of using a CRM package, Sales Force, Intact and maintaining clients details as well as latest IT skills
Preferred:
- Experience of managing team of more than 5-7 members
- MBA finance, IFRS diploma from a regular and well reputed University/College
- Previous experience of working for 3-4 years with similar service provider/ consulting service provider
- Motivated by delivering results and setting an example
- Previous history of managing Indian subsidiaries of foreign clients and international businesses
