We are looking for a Senior Finance Manager for one of client. I have attached the JD for the particular position. Please have a look at the same and revert me back if you are interested.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Fund Management – Managing the funds of the company in an effective manner by ensuring funds are raised in a timely manner to meet operational requirements and ensuring that the funds received are utilized efficiently.

2. Budgeting – Preparation of Yearly Budget of the company. Collection of budget data from individual \ departments after discussions and consolidation into the company’s budget. Discussion of consolidated budget prepared vis-à-vis the actual expenditure incurred in the previous year with the MD & CEO before finalizing the current year budget. Monitoring of the Budget Vs Actuals Expenses on a monthly basis.

3. MIS Reporting – Preparation of monthly MIS Report highlighting the progress of the company and expenses
incurred towards various projects of the company. Also highlighting the variances of Actual Expenses from Budgeted Expenses and reasons for the same.

4. Statutory & Regulatory Compliance – Ensuring compliance of the company with respect to Companies Act, RBI regulations, Income Tax Act, Service Tax Act, Sales Tax Act, Provident Fund Act, Professional Tax Act, Labour Welfare Fund Act. Handling of notices, assessments, payments & refunds.

5. Grant/Loan Accounting & Reporting – With respect to the grant received for Wharton’s Jelly Project and loan received for Liver Cirrhosis Project ensuring maintenance of proper documentation, preparation of Statement of Expenditure & Utilization Reports, providing necessary information during audit of books of accounts.

6. Handling Investor Requirements – Handling requirements of the two investors – Manipal Group & Cipla Group with respect to documentation for raising funds, submission of monthly MIS reports, allotment of shares for funds raised, providing necessary information/reports as and when called for by the investors.

7. Handling Board Meeting Requirements – Rendering support in preparation of Board Meeting Agenda & Business Review document, getting the same printed & spiral bound, coordinating the conduct of Board Meetings, rendering support in preparation of Minutes of Board Meeting.

8. Support in drafting the Business Plan – Rendering necessary support in the form of collection of data, analysis of data, presentation of data in form required by the MD & CEO, submission of draft Business Plan document.

1. Analytical Skills – Capable of analyzing given data and presenting the same in required form.

2. Business Acumen – Understanding the business situation requirement and responding suitably.

3. Reporting Skills – Capable of providing various kinds of excel reports required by the management.

4. Technical Skills – Possessing good technical skills to handle the routine as well as complex financial requirements of the company

5. Leadership Skills – Able to offer good support to staff in their fulfillment of duties and also rendering required support to other departmental heads.

6. Training Skills – Able to offer necessary training to staff to upgrade their skills and take on additional responsibilities.
