About our Client - Our client is a US Based MNC who has a strong presence within the Indian market. They have a diverse business strategy which specializes across various services. There presence pan India makes them a strong player within the domestic market. Their continued growth has seen the need arise for an accomplished Finance and Accounts Manager to be based at their port in Navi Mumbai.

Job Description - As a member of the India Leadership team, play a significant part in the ongoing management and direction of the India operation.

- Provide strong leadership of the accounts function, taking responsibility for improving all aspects of the India business' financial direction and management.

- Ensure accuracy, timeliness and transparency in all financial reporting and planning and assure US GAAP is properly applied.

- Create a more rigorous and robust financial management capability across the business and demonstrate a hands-on approach of understanding and challenging the business on an account-by-account basis

- Understand the key operational drivers of the business and be a value-added and challenging foil to the operational managers in the Indian business.

- Identify and manage risks in the business particularly related to new business opportunities, models, and client contracts.

- Ensure the efficacy of internal controls and lead the documentation thereof as required under U.S. Sarbanes Oxley legislation

- Oversee the India cash and Treasury requirements and ensure that the Indian business maintains appropriate levels of cash and investment controls as demanded by the business in the US.Oversee India taxation policy and compliance

The Successful Candidate - For this exciting and yet challenging role we are ideally looking for a qualified CA with at least 5+ years of experience gained in services field. You must have a high degree of commercial acumen and thrive in an entrepreneurial environment. You should possess strong leadership skills; high level of integrity and the ability to communicate well with various stakeholders and senior management. You are self-motivated, resourceful with a ""hands-on"" approach when required. You are a go getter
