Sr Manager/DGM - Business Controller - Travel/Hospitality

We have a job opening with one of the leading travel MNC.

They are looking for Sr. Manager / DGM - Business Controller to be based out in Mumbai.

Job Description:

Duties and Responsibility:

- Monitoring of development of business on relevant levels (consolidated, business area wise, customer wise) including analysis of changes over time and derived from it:

a) Set up of periodic comments and presentations for the management highlighting relevant issues

b) Defining action plans in order to follow up deviations from the target figures

- Developing and maintaining dashboards on business metrics/ KPIs and drive review on customer and business area profitability. Manage initiatives to improve efficiency of the company

- Contributing to business growth and increase in profitability and through process improvements

- Supporting quarterly Forecast and annual Budget / Mid Term Plan process and conducting periodic analysis to determine difference between projected and actual results and suggesting/ implementing corrective actions.

- Setting up and maintaining cost controlling including review together with the business. Manage initiatives to improve profitability and value creation.

- Preparing management reports to keep track of business performance and conduct ad hoc analysis

- Monitoring, coordinating various projects in finance

Essential Competence & Skills:

- Knowledge of accounting software like SAP and/or travel front systems

- Ability to maintain good professional relationship with stake holders

Work Experience:

- 8 -10 years professional experience

- 3 - 4 years of relevant experience in business analysis.

Educational Qualification: Commerce Graduate with MBA / ICWA or other degree with analytical background
