The Amazon India marketing team is looking for rockstar performer to the lead the customer engagement, retention, and reactivation activities. This leader will be responsible for identifying and developing scalable engagement programs, across marketing functions including search engine marketing, email marketing, direct mail and social media and mobile marketing. The successful candidate will be data-driven with a proven track record of driving engagement through online, and mobile marketing programs. This leader will provide steady strategic vision in a dynamic environment. This leader will be willing to experiment with new / emerging technologies to engage customers and increase their use of various Amazon categories, and to employ a rigorous test, measure and iterate approach to drive continuous improvement.
Sr. Manager, Customer Engagement
Duties & Responsibilities will include:
- Create and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy drive Amazon.in customer engagement, retention, and reactivation
- View the customer lifecycle holistically and optimize the marketing experience across all segments (transactional, subscription and advertising)
- Provide strategic guidance, leadership and partner with each of the categories to fully optimize the marketing lifecycle
- Develop customer segmentation models to inform marketing programs, content programming, and content acquisition.
- Drive the strategic initiatives needed to drive the customer lifecycle conversion from related upper funnel activities
- Drive the strategic initiatives needed to reduce customer churn.
- Innovate and implement test and learn strategies throughout the funnel. Monitor the effectiveness of campaigns and implement ongoing improvements.
- Own key business metrics, support in-depth business reviews and present to senior management
Basic Qualifications:
- B School Graduate from Top B School
- 9+ years- experience in online and/or consumer marketing, preferably with online retail experience
- Experience with marketing an e-commerce service is a plus
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and an ability to influence others
- Strong analytic and quantitative skills - ability to use data to develop and measure marketing programs.
- Track record of performance excellence
- Ability to hire, develop and manage a world class team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the e-commerce retention space preferred.
- Has relentlessly high standards
- Thinks strategically, but stays on top of tactical execution
- Expects and requires innovation of her/his team
