About our Client:

Our client is a leading global asset management firm with its operations in more than 40 countries. They are looking for a seasoned finance professional to join them as an VP in the CFO's team as a part of their continuous expansion globally.

Job Description:

Reporting to the Country Head, you shall be responsible for:

- Finalizing local Statutory Accounts and getting them Audited

- Coordination with various groups including HR, legal, Customer Service, etc.

- Providing all information to Tax team for Tax Audit and TP Review

- Providing all information to Tax team for various tax assessments

- Controlling various policies

- Facilitating Annual physical verification and root cause analysis, proper accounting for write off's / write down's, capital vs revenue classification guidance etc.

- Payroll Accounting and related reconciliations and queries including

- Providing data for Country specific different projects on adhoc basis

- Finance support to SBU's and functions

- Coordination with banks on various matters / escalations, changes, etc.

The Successful Candidate:

- You should be a qualified Chartered Accountant with 7+ years of experience with experience gained in the field of financial controllership.

- In addition, experience in Statutory Audits, Direct Stakeholder management is key.

- You should be open to traveling and working with teams in different geographies and across international business units.
