Job Description:
Financial Planning:
- Formulating budgets in tandem with management guidance, assessing budget assumption, consolidation of financials and industry benchmarking
- Preparation of monthly rolling Forecast on the basis of actual and latest information
- Preparation of high level company plan for forthcoming quarters and fiscals
Financial Reporting & Control:
- Preparing & Analysing MIS on expense sheets & profitability for each business unit.
- Preparing management review decks with various cuts and slices on monthly performance
- Running various cost control measures across company, enforcing budget discipline and raising necessary red flags to management
- Publishing Variance cost reports/operating metrics to function owners/BU heads
- Interface with respective entity Business finance SPOCs on monthly performance/outlook and driving pan initiatives
- Quarterly board meeting review decks for Board including MD&A and Business Unit performance. This requires working closely with CFO/CEO
- Establish bridge between Financial accounting and Management accounting which requires adept knowledge of entity financials and intercompany transactions
Other Analysis & Reporting:
- Strategic initiatives including due diligence, special audit and M&A related work
- Preparing models for Bankers/Lenders or other strategic shareholders
- Tracking performance of business units against KPI.
- Monitoring receivables, capex, Cash collections, SG&A, Capacity utilization and other important financial parameters typical to BPO industry
- Carrying out Sensitivity Analysis of the various decisions taken in organization
- Collaborating with other teams in Treasury/CEOs office/ERM/Accounts/Commercial in necessary information flow
