Sr Manager/AVP - Reporting & Analytics - SAS - BFSI

About Our Client:

Our client is a leading bank in retail banking products like credit cards, mortgage, auto loans, etc.across all major markets in which they operate. As part of expansion of their global analytics team, they are looking for a AVP who can play a critical role in their Reporting & Financial Analytics division and become a thought leader to the organization.

Job Description:

Reporting into the Analytics Head, you will be responsible for:

- Leading the Reporting Analytics team Monitor business performance, analyze variance drivers, and provide periodic updates to senior management.

- Provide insight on key performance trends and identify risks/opportunities towards meeting business targets.

- Provide thought leadership to long-term strategic planning process by delivering insightful analysis and perspective.

- Conduct other adhoc analysis as needed.

- Lead a team of Reporting analysts fostering a high performance culture.

The Successful Applicant:

- Bachelors degree in Business/Economics/Finance/Engineering or other quantitative disciplines. Masters degree preferred.

- 7+ years of Reporting /Analytics experience preferably from Retail Banking, Financial services, Payments industries

- Excellent spreadsheet and presentation skills

- Knowledge of SAS/SQL

- Sharp analytical thinker and proven thought leader

- Strong communication skills - ability to work with multiple product teams/stakeholders, understand key business objectives, and communicate complex concepts effectively to different audiences

- Tremendous drive towards results.

- Ability to persist against obstacles and get things done.
