The role detailed herein is with a non-deposit accepting, non-banking finance company (NBFC) which focuses on real estate and small and micro enterprise lending and is for a Consulting / Research professional with extensive exposure and in-depth understanding of the real estate industry.
While the candidate is being positioned at the level of Senior Manager/AVP, he / she would be expected to assume a leadership role within the Business Development function and deliver and oversee all the activities for the Company.
Job Description:
Position: Sr. Manager/ AVP- Business Development
Reporting Manager: Director, Business Development - Wholesale Lending
Location: Pune / Ahmedabad
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Networking & active touch with Developers / Brokers/ CA Firms that advise Developers /Other NBFCs & Banks for refinance requirements
- Must contribute in initiating, developing and maintaining relationship with the builders in the Real Estate Space.
- Establish a system for sourcing of transactions that fit into the credit lending philosophy of the company. Wholesale Lending division is focused on lending to real estate developers and projects pertaining to construction of residential units.
We focus on Mumbai, Pune and NCR region
- Create suitable references, database and procure leads that can be converted into lending transactions.
- Act as a link between the borrowers, prospective borrowers and the credit team.
- Keep abreast of all regulatory and economic developments taking place in the real estate sector and establish a system to record the same and spread knowledge/information within the organization in a systematic manner.
- Terms Negotiation, Sanction Letter Acceptance and Collection of Processing Fees
- Due Diligence Coordination and Definitive Agreement Negotiation & Execution.
- Deal Evaluation: Calculate Physical and Cash Flow Cover & Project Brief. Coordinate with Developer for all data points and Documents for IC Note
Experience & Qualifications:
- Experience: 7-10 years of relevant Experience in Business Development in real estate industry
- Masters degree in finance (MBA) or a professional qualification (CA) mandatory
Requirements & Skills:
- Must have very good understanding of real estate and also the financial markets, financial products.
- Negotiation skills and ability to structure transactions.
- Good understanding for the geography of the locations.
- Proven ability to deliver high quality outputs under stringent timelines
- Willingness to travel extensively
- Excellent communication & writing skills
- Expertise in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
Compensation (to be offered) : 15 to 18 Lacs PA
