Our client is a leading financial institution with significant presence in India. Due to constant expansion and to bring their business to even greater heights in India, an outstanding opportunity has arisen for an expert in Fixed Income Asset Servicing candidate to take on a leadership role.

Job Description

Reporting to the Vice President for Asset Servicing you will be responsible for:

- Managing activities that include announcements, entitlements, booking, instructions, coupons and redemptions

- Working with internal teams like settlements. trade support, reconciliations etc for various issues

- Managing all parts of the corporate actions life cycle from announcements till actual settling of claim

- Liaising with BCP, Operations Risk and Change management teams as and when required to keep Cost and Risk under Control

- People Management - Hiring, Learning & Development - Training, spelling out team and individual KPIs, appraisals and mentoring

The Successful Applicant

You will have at least 8 years of experience in the Investment Banking space and should have worked for at least 5+ years within the Fixed Income Corporate Actions space - your experience should not be limited to domestic operations but should span across global operations. You are well versed with trade life cycles and understand complex corporation actions.Good communication and team management skills are integral to this role.
