Role - Sr. Manager/ Associate Director Presales
Location - Bangalore/ Pune / Hyderabad/ Chennai
Skill- Solutioning / Presales (Middleware integration)
Good experience in OpenSource (Mule/JBOSS SOA) or Software AG products with the Integration, API Management, Streaming Analytics and BPM technology. Solid background in Technical pre-sales and pro-actively sell the services and solutions.
1. Role Description
a. Own all Pre-sales activities for a portfolio [Vertical/ SBU/ Region (based on size of the BU)]
b. Lead solution detailing and lead articulation process while responding to opportunities
Responsibility:
a. Understand the problem statement (RFP/ RFI) by identifying missing information and guide Business development analysts in framing appropriate queries to ferret out the missing information
b. Identify relevant stakeholders for the deal
c. Assist the Business Development - Partner in conducting problem definition/ solution identification workshops for customers
d. Detail and articulation of solutions (response to RFPs/ RFIs/ unsolicited bids etc.) and ensure completeness of the (in content and in form) same
e. Act as a reference point / SME within the Business Development team for at least one Problem Domain and one Service Offering
f. Anchor problem definition/ solution identification workshops for deals
g. Own customer presentations by laying the framework and guiding the team to create the content
h. Understand market trends and its relevance in order to seed appropriate newer Cognizant's offerings
i. Create and manage marketing collaterals such as Fliers, Statement of Qualifications, case studies etc.
j. Manage client visits for large / complex deals and for new logo
Educational Guidelines
a. MBA or equivalent business Management degree from reputed institutions
Basic Qualifications
a. Should have domain knowledge and experience in Middleware integration/Technologies.
b. Onsite Client Experience driving key activities like Requirements Gathering and driving solution workshops would be an added advantage
c. Ability to drive the engagement with minimal supervisor involvement and should be able to work independently from onshore/offshore
d. Very strong communication skills and habits, demonstrating skills in sharing and explaining complex concepts, creative and pro-active thinking, and situational adaptation of these skills
e. Ability to quickly connect business requirements to the functional capabilities of an application and assess the applicability of different product technologies to business problems
