Position Summary:

This strategic, hands-on Business Unit Risk Manager role is responsible for driving key Business level transformational initiatives in the risk management space for the Business unit, including establishing a systematic, efficient & effective Contractual risk management framework (from policy, processes & platform standpoint), Work in Collaboration with Delivery Excellence Teams on Delivery Risk Management and Enterprise Risk Management Team . The role is not limited to Risk Management and the individual is expected to drive business processes improvement in the respective business unit .

Key Responsibilities

- Is responsible for driving key Corporate BPM Risk transformational initiatives in the respective business unit area across the organization by working closely with delivery organization as well as engaging all the BU stakeholders in identifying the requirements in process, platform and policies and create execution roadmaps as needed for the Risk initiative

- Is responsible for Developing & Implementing Business unit wide governance, risk or compliance programs for meeting the organizational objectives.

a) Act as a trusted advisor Keeping the business unit executive apprised of changes in risk profile, as well as emerging risks

b) Participate on various risk management sub-committees to evaluate the risk profile and mitigation actions.

c) Support the business unit in the remediation of issues and the design of mitigation actions

d) Supports assigned business in the identification, assessment, monitoring and management of risks.

e) Provide insights through Risk projections and provide early warning data and appropriate risk mitigation plan

- Program Manage the implementation of findings from Project DE-RISK in the areas of Delivery Risk Management and Contractual Compliance

a) Spearhead the contractual compliance program: Implement, monitor and report contractual compliance related risks and metrics

b) Create awareness forums, Conduct Education / Training sessions for knowledge building around key areas of MSA/SoW contractual risks

- Work closely with the Corporate ERM team

a) To Provide periodic updates on the changes in Risk Profile of the business unit and risk scores on ad hoc working groups to address and resolve new areas of risk

b) Create - Best Practices Case Studies- and facilitate the cross-pollination of practices across units

c) Escalate keys risks with needs Corporate level interventions

- Work closely with the Corporate BPM team

a) To drive improvements in risk management process through continuous dialogue and supporting data analytics

- Should be able to work with Various Corporate Functions Like Human Resources - Talent Supply Chain, Global Immigration, Information Security, Finance, IP, Legal and Business Continuity Planning etc. in the management of risks

Skills required:

- Demonstrates strategic orientation and agility

- Ability to build collaborative relationships with team members, corporate functions and Other Business units

- Strong Business & Financial acumen ( ability to translate efficiency & effectiveness improvements into P&L impact

- Exposure or Experience in Any Industry Verticals Subject Matter Expertise, Regulatory Compliances are desirable

- Experience in any Subject Matter expertise in Information Security, Business Continuity Planning, Human Resources, Talent Supply Chain, Immigration is desirable

- Experience in Risk Assessment Models and Risk Methodologies are desirable

- Excellent interpersonal, communications, public speaking and presentation skills

Qualifications (Education, Experience):

- At least 10 years of relevant global and cross functional expertise and experience, preferably in a Tier 1 IT Services firm, Consulting, or Fortune 500 Company

- Solid academic background with engineering or advanced degrees in economics, finance or management degrees (CA or MBA).

- Should have deep understanding and knowledge of Enterprise Risk Management, Contractual risk management & delivery Risk Management with skills in risk assessment analysis, Analyze Risk Trends

- Should have handled risk roles either in a consulting or a functional role

- Should have experience in contract lifecycle management, Delivery risk management and executive reporting

- Should have experience in conducting a variety of Risk assessments (e.g., process reviews, risk control self-assessments, contractual clauses, change readiness, stakeholder risk etc. and analyzing the results of those assessments to draw meaningful conclusion for the leadership )

- Should have experience in IT Services industry

- Should have prior experience in making CXO presentations and influence executive leadership team as well as drive change management across organization.
