Job Responsibilities:
1) The senior operations leader role is a critical role focused on expanding leadership position in price competitiveness. You will work with the business teams world wide to prioritize work, handle systems or operations issues in a timely manner, and communicate to all stakeholders. Should have ideally managed teams upto 200+ members.
2) A successful candidate will have an established background in successfully managing critical and complex business processes, excellent communication skills and an ability to deal with a fast paced environment. You must be very comfortable defining, developing and using metrics to drive the vision and manage the business.
3) As part of the leadership team, you will work on developing the pricing systems, algorithms and strategies.
4) You will drive timely, accurate and efficient processes to ensure price competitiveness through relentless process improvements. You will manage program managers, operations managers, as well as a large operations staff and will regularly interact with Senior Leadership at the director and vice-president level worldwide.
5) The candidate will have a demonstrated record of team building and execution in a high volume operational environment and be able to lead not only at the strategic level, but also tactically day-to-day by diving deeply into business and technical domains. This requires a person that is very metrics driven, yet has the vision to scale the business.
6) The candidate must have a proven track record of partnering with technology teams and leveraging automation
to drive efficiencies in operational processes.
Basic Qualification:
1) B.Tech/ MBA degree in business, finance or operations management required. MBA and six sigma certification is preferred. Should have ideally managed teams upto 200+ members.
2) 16-20 years of work experience with at least 7 years of people management and at least 3 years of owning a complex and critical business process end to end.
3) Business analysis acumen, with substantive experience measuring the success of a complex business process and proposing new business opportunities
4) Operational support and passion, with experience in establishing, measuring, and meeting service level agreements, improving the availability, performance, and quality of systems, and managing complex on-the-fly operational concerns.
5) A track record of communicating worldwide with executives and non-technical leaders, Experience with multinational companies, dealing with customers across the world. Demonstrated ability to hire and develop strong operations team members and leaders
