Role in brief:

Sr. GM Compensation and Benefits is expected to provide operational and functional leadership in the area of Compensation and Benefits thereby aligning the Compensation and Benefits strategy to the Business strategy of the organization and foster growth.

KRAs:

- Define the compensation philosophy of the company; design, develop, improve and provide strategic direction for compensation and benefits strategies, policies and systems across company to attract, retain and motivate its people and to help the organisation.

- Assist in building and maintaining employee understanding and appreciation of the value of compensation and benefits programs through effective implementation of C&B programs and communications.

- Provide counsel and recommendation on offers within the framework of the C&B Operating Guidelines

- Conduct yearly salary surveys, analyse results, recommend salary ranges, summarize market trends.

- Build good working relationship with HR Business Partners, Staffing Partners and Line Management and actively participate in initiatives in order to accomplish common goals.

- Run regular analyses of global trends in C&B to ensure market competitiveness.

Person Specification:

- MBA - HR with 13 -15 Years’ experience

- High conceptual clarity of various C&B Processes and systems

- Should possess excellent interpersonal skills and handle both internal and external stakeholders and be empathetic

- Should have exposure to global C&B trends specifically in nations of Africa and Asia

- Should have exposure to a consulting environment like Mercer, Hewitt and worked on global benchmarking studies

- Should have high Learning Agility and should be able to manage Change

- Preferably from a consulting background in global compensation and benefits trends.( Hewitt, Mercer, PWC)
