A leading, global financial information services company is seeking a highly experienced financial professional to oversee and manage its Managed Services SPS teams in India.
- The successful candidate will be a part of the global senior management team driving the execution of a SPS strategy across the division.
- They will be responsible for liaising, coordinating, escalating and driving all aspects of operations related to the businesses supported and providing leadership to all SPS teams locally. This includes the analysis and execution of driving standardization and maximizing operational excellence across similar functions and different products, while providing leadership and development growth for the teams.
Reporting : This position will report to the MD & Head of Solutions Product Services globally
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Effectively leading and managing a team of highly motivated professionals to meet the needs of the businesses we support
- Partner with Global SPS Directors to ensure the teams are structured and resourced correctly to deliver a superior customer service
- Taking a pro-active role within the global operations management team to ensure process alignment and operational efficiencies are realized
- Proactive management of operational risk by tracking and reporting on KPI’s & KRI’s
- Having a streamlined hiring and training process to ensure the successful expansion of teams as needed
- Ability to develop team members and effectively manage capacity and attrition to meet SLA’s
- Taking the initiative to learn the teams processes and the products
- Ability to deliver through their teams’ and empowers team members to deliver
- Create a positive work environment and instill a culture of service excellence
- Build effective working relationships with the Markit India management team
Education and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (MBA or Advanced degree preferred)
- Degree in Finance, Economics, or Business preferred
- Substantial experience of managing a large team (circa 100) within an operational function
- Strong operations knowledge and background
- Proven experience of building stake holder relationships and partnering with management globally
- Experience working in high yield or leveraged loan financial markets would be highly desirable
- MS Office software skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word
