THE ROLE

- You will act as the Director of the brand, successfully engaging and influencing stakeholders on all key growth initiatives. As the owner of the brand you will drive the agenda for all brand developments, building a commercial proposition and delivering sustainable results.

Key responsibilities include:

- Ownership and achievement of the P&L, driving growth and results, manage brand budgets while keeping A&P spend within budget.

- Accountability and responsibility for the development of fully integrated brand plans for multiple markets

- Responsibility for brand portfolio management and ensuring that the Regional Business Unit is fully informed, engaged and motivated to build the brand in line with the brand vision, strategy and guidelines

- Responsibilities include image and brand building, strategic planning, consumer communication, compliance and performance tracking

- Delivering against customer and channel priorities, delivery of profit, pricing and volume targets while identifying incremental profit and brand building opportunities through new product/channel development.

- Reviewing brand health, current/proposed in market activities, stock supply and NPD

- Monitoring brand performance brand health, current and proposed in market activities, stock supply and NPD

- Providing insights around performance and regional variants

- Responsibility for the successful management of all stakeholders within both the Regional teams

- Actively involved in key markets to ensure commercial integration of plans (pricing, programming, events, blitzes, new product launches, incentives, etc.).

- Evaluate competitive environment and establish channel, regional and SKU priorities and opportunities by brand.

- Monitor, follow up and report on established priorities to ensure compliance with approved marketing plans.

- Evaluate consumer environment and provide insights to enhance profitability.

- Provide leadership, in accordance with agreed competencies/behaviours

- To mentor and motivate one team member and cross-market teams to ensure that delegated responsibilities are achieved.

- To implement Performance Management System

YOU

- You will have extensive senior brand marketing experience within FMCG, with an in depth understanding of commercial brand management dynamics coupled with a proven ability to deliver results.

- Excellent stakeholder management skills are required with the ability to lead, engage and influence.

- As an autonomous self-starter you will be able to demonstrate key achievements and the drive to progress and succeed. You will preferably have experience within or knowledge of the FMCG industry and an understanding of the workings of a global matrix structure.

Mandatory requirements:

- Brand marketing experience gained with FMCG consumer led business

- Be results driven
