Senior Business Analyst-statistician

Job description:

- A statistician plays a critical role in shaping up analytics engagements at DenuoSource. Your core value is in developing statistical solutions through methods that add tremendous value to your client’s business.

- You will be responsible for designing and conducting statistical analysis and come up with innovative applications of methods to solve complex business problems. As a senior member of the analytics group, you will provide thought leadership to your team members on a broad range of engagements involving quantitative aspects.

Responsibilities:

1. Use advanced statistical techniques and data mining approaches to uncover complex relationships in customer data

2. Provide expert-level advice on relevant technical aspects of econometrics, regressions and other statistically-driven business methodologies.

3. Carry out all aspects of client engagements including work planning, scope refinement, and quality-assurance.

4. Prepare deliverables such as reports and client presentations and also being responsible for team management and deliverable quality.

Educational Qualification

1. The ideal candidate should preferably be a M Stat/M.Sc statistics/M.Sc. Maths from a reputed institute.

Technical Skills

1. Possesses expert level understanding of Base SAS and SAS Stat

2. Comfortable working with Ms Office Suite

Experience

1. 4-6 years of extensive experience in Regression Modeling, Logistic Regression Modeling, Discriminant Analysis, Factor Analysis, Cluster analysis, Econometric & Time Series Modeling, Data Mining

2. Strong knowledge of statistical methods such as hypothesis testing, sampling and design of experiments, predictive modeling and data mining
