About our Client - Known as the Indian Innovator Pharmaceutical company, our client is a leading player in the discovery of new molecules both NCEs and NBEs. They also have a significant presence in branded generics markets across emerging economies including India. With 6000 employees across 80 countries, they have close to 5 R&D centres and 12 manufacturing facilities. India being one of their top markets, they want to capitalise on their brand equity and are looking to enter new product categories in the next few years.
Job Description - Reporting into the Business Head; your main responsibilities will entail:
- Defining and managing advertising and promotional concepts/activities especially in the retail channel selling segment
- Conducting market analysis; combining local market/ trade/ shopper and consumer data sources to understand brand performance and make recommendations
- Providing input to the strategy planning process in order to build the brand through innovative approaches
- Facilitating and sharing best practices across launches
- Spearheading launches for the products introduced in a segment filled with 'me-too' products and differentiating own products
The Successful Candidate -
- You are a Graduate with an MBA from a top tier business school, with at least 5-7 years of progressive experience in brand management roles within the pharmaceutical/OTC/FMCG space with at least 1-2 years of a sales stint.
- You have extensive experience in marketing to retail/channel selling.
- An excellent communicator with a history of being self-motivated, you are oriented towards entrepreneurial businesses and demonstrate a visible hands-on approach.
