We have an urgent opening for Big 4 for Gurgaon location.

Role: - Sr. Analyst-Thought Leadership and client Programs (PG in Finance (or Economics/ MBA)- Gurgaon

Total Exp: - 3 - 4.5 Yrs

Shift Timings: - General shift

Thought Leadership and Client Programs team provides stimulating insights on thematic cross sector thought leadership reports. The team works closely with:

- Global macro-economic program team on projects related to macro-economic trends and foreign direct investment (FDI)

- Strategic growth markets team on initiatives related to entrepreneurship, innovation, coverage/thematic reports for global events such as G20 Summit, World Economic forum (WEF), etc.

- Cross functional teams on sector diagnostic survey analysis on issues impacting business growth, sustainability, etc. These surveys are carried out in collaboration with strategic partners such as Harvard, WEF, Oxford Economics, etc.

- Global trade team on emerging trends and developments in global trade

- The candidate will support the assigned community by leading, managing and contributing to complex research and analysis projects, including the design and delivery of products and services in response to customer needs.

- The candidate will help frame knowledge requests and ensure the quality and delivery of research, analysis, market intelligence and other intellectual capital provided by the team to support the specific stakeholder's initiatives.

- The individual will also network with other parts of companies Global Markets to support relationship development as well as brand building efforts of the firm.

Function: Strategic Market Intelligence (SMI)

Location: Gurgaon, India

Essential Functions:

Research and Analysis:

- Predictive analysis: Un-packs events into key drivers and causes to develop multiple hypotheses investigate alternatives and recommend solutions. Draw together information from primary and secondary sources to prove or disprove hypotheses.

- Macro-economic research, regulatory impact and country risk analysis, business sentiment, and competition and strategy issues for clients from industries, policy making, industry association, financial sector, SME sector. Tracking and analyzing Developed and Emerging economy trends and delivering reports and presentations to senior business leaders

- Leveraging relevant information sources: Use analytical tools and techniques, specifically those relevant to the domain, and deftly uses them to address analytical issues. Demonstrate expertise in information sources relevant to the domain

- Linking company service offerings: Understand and link solutions to current and expected trends and issues in the domain and the assigned accounts (if applicable), and thereby identify business opportunities for the firm

- Elicitation: Collect and analyse information from internal and external subject matter experts through various techniques - face-to-face interviews, telephonic interviews, electronic surveys, etc.

Project Management:

- Planning and execution:Develops project plans and manages projects, including objectives, timelines, milestones, priorities, team member responsibilities and work products.

- Monitoring:Monitors progress and regularly updates stakeholders on potential overruns and changes; re-negotiates timelines, scopes changes and budgets if necessary.

- Collaborating:Develops project work products collaboratively with team members that focus on measurable business impact.

Stakeholder Management:

Position Requirements:

Education:

- Relevant tertiary education (e.g., economics, finance or business studies) or equivalent work experience

- Master's degree or postgraduate qualification an advantage

Work Experience:

- 4-5 years of work experience at a leading professional services firm (e.g. international consulting firm, Big 4, global investment bank, leading research house)

- Detailed knowledge and proven track record in the relevant domain

- Understanding of the domain at global level preferably will be a strong advantage skill

- Excellent spoken and written communication skills, as well as presentation skills

- Strong business writing, story boarding and visualisation skills

- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, including financial analysis skills

- Good project and time management skills with the ability to complete multiple tasks and meet deadlines

- Expert in information sources relevant to the domain

- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office

- Good executive presence and proven ability to build strong working relationships with senior partners, using primarily virtual communication methods

- Excellent team player; comfortable working in a virtual environment; ability to peer review work and mentor colleagues

- Self-motivated, with strong work ethic and initiative; proactive in identifying issues and opportunities and delivering insightful solutions
