Sr Analyst - Financial Research

The key job responsibilities include the following:

- The professional needs to develop, write, and deploy thought leadership projects in Private Equity/Hedge Funds/Mutual Funds (PE/HF/MF) and/or Real Estate (RE) space as part of the Financial Services Industry (FSI) team to assist leadership in making strategic decisions. The incumbent will need to develop research ideas, frame hypothesis, analyze quantitative and qualitative data, synthesize findings, and demonstrate strong writing and presentation skills.

- The professional would be required to:

- Support development of research proposals to create thought leadership for the PE/HF/MF and RE sectors.

- Write sections of reports targeted at the executive audience based on insights and findings from the studies.

- Structure, organize and synthesize information to develop key insights.

- Apply research techniques such as financial analysis, case studies, interviews, and surveys.

- Conduct in-depth, complex data analysis to form or support the hypotheses.

- Build effective working relationships with subject matter experts within the firm.

- Demonstrate strong writing and engaging presentation skills.

Qualifications/Work Experience:

- MBA from reputed business school – India/International

- 3 - 5 years of prior work experience in PE/HF/MF and/or RE industry, preferably research or consulting, related to the U.S. market

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills

- Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, including statistical analysis

- Exposure to working in teams, including virtual teams

- Flexibility to work across two sub-sectors (PE/HF/MF and RE)

- An ability to build professional relationships, a spirit of co-operation, and a flexible approach to work are required.

- Self-motivated and strong team player

Work Timings: 11.00 AM to 8.00 PM
