DESCRIPTION
Role:
An experienced product marketing professionals who has a technical background and serious product marketing chops. You will be responsible for market success of the product portfolio. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on creator of content including fine-tuned messages, presentations, whitepapers and more. You have a track record in developing enterprise software messaging, content and tools that communicate differentiating value of a technical platform, increases market penetration, drives large deals, and accelerate sales.
Responsibilities:
- Communicating a market position that is differentiated, clear, defensible and monetizable.
- Arming sales (direct and channel) with the knowledge and tools they need to be successful.
- Owning all messaging and story; building high level marketing of what releases are upcoming
- Developing content and marketing from both a B2B and individual user perspective
- Enabling Squadcast's marketing goal of simplifying a technical product to be well-understood, but not so much so that it hurts rapport with the tech market.
REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years leading product marketing initiatives, targeted towards technical audiences
- Experience marketing B2B technical products; interest in becoming very technically proficient with the product and individual features
- Experience with developer marketing; understanding of developer pain points; skill in speaking authentically to a technical audience
- Start-up experience is highly preferred
- Logical and analytical thinker, strong verbal, written interpersonal skills
