- Lead the commercial team to finalize and execute commercial strategies.
- Analyse competition to meet business and customer requirements for contracting commercial contracts and propose innovative solutions.
- Use benchmarks, industry knowledge and external input to drive competitive pricing models.
- Assessing and managing the on-going contractual obligations.
- Monitoring compliance including T&Cs and SLAs within contractual obligations and reporting efficiency.
- Drive the maximisation of commercial opportunities and ensure right cost/ budget allocation.
- Manage budgets and analyse potential value to align with the P&L goal.
- Lead the business/management for overall pricing and prepare pricing approvals; analyse every cost parameter, negotiate, and prepare action plans to improve profitability.
- Working closely with teams across all businesses; driving analysis to lead commercial strategies.
- Review and mitigate internal/ external potential risks and issues.
- Ensure all elements of a commercial deal (including profitability) are in line with company policy and have received the appropriate approvals.
Leadership
- Take a hands-on approach towards leadership.
- Communicate and align the overall commercial strategy to the business leaders. - Partner with Business Heads, Finance, Marketing, Legal to facilitate on-going project execution, and potential for future projects.
- Lead initiatives to drive change and improve business performance, influencing the long-term strategic plan.
Required
- Commercial Management- Strong understanding on the commercial aspects of contracts. Ability to review and provide with innovative solutions to drive maximum cost and operational efficiencies. - Budgeting and Costing
- Hands-on experience in managing budgets and cost analysis. Strong experience in pricing and P/L management of products and services.
- Client Relationship Management - Strong interpersonal skills, and ability to maintain effective and profitable long-term relations with clients and stakeholders.
- Risk and Governance - Risk and issue management. Ensure governance and compliance for all on going and new commercial/ contract documents.
- Business Acumen - Agility, utilization of business information to drive results.
- Negotiation - Strong communication, persuasion, negotiation, and presentation skills. - Market Intelligence - Abreast with competition, to maximize profitability.
- IT Literacy - Familiarity with technology and platforms used in the field
- Analytics - Demonstrate good technical know-how on analytical data, problem-solving techniques, and representation of complex numerical data.
