Key Responsibilities
- Identify and target potential sponsors for MICE events through market research and networking
- Develop and implement sales strategies to secure sponsorship deals and achieve revenue targets
- Create compelling sponsorship proposals and presentations tailored to the needs of potential sponsors
- Negotiate sponsorship agreements and contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial terms for both parties
- Build and maintain strong relationships with sponsors, providing excellent customer service and ensuring sponsor satisfaction
- Collaborate with internal teams to fulfill sponsor expectations and deliver agreed-upon sponsorship benefits
- Track and report sales performance, pipeline, and forecasts to the management team
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and best practices in event sponsorship
- Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote sponsorship opportunities
- Contribute to the development of sponsorship packages and pricing strategies to maximize revenue
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor/masters degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field
- Proven experience in sponsorship or B2B sales, particularly in the MICE industry
- Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate value propositions effectively
- Strong understanding of event management and the sponsorship landscape within the MICE sector
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers
- Experience in preparing and delivering persuasive sales presentations and proposals
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales tracking tools to manage leads and opportunities
- Strategic mindset with the ability to identify new business opportunities and develop innovative sales tactics
- Proactive and self-motivated with a results-driven and customer-focused approach to sales
