Business Function :
Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence (Staffing CoE) supports End to End staffing requirements of all Businesses and functions across India. As a Staffing Specialist, the incumbent will be responsible for understanding the talent needs, strategizing and sourcing top talents, interview and assess the talents and partner with HRBPs and Hiring managers till the candidate is onboarded. Staffing specialist is expected to partner with the stakeholders in meeting the hiring needs of the organization with agreed SLA's.
ROLE OBJECTIVE :
The Staffing Specialist will report to the Head of Talent Acquisition and will be expected to partner in running end to end recruitment initiatives covering the whole recruitment cycle from Sourcing to Candidate Offer with special focus on referral campaigns, internal talent movement and Inclusion Diversity initiatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Establishes recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives; meeting with managers to discuss needs.
- Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, Social media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport.
- Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.
- Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements; contacting search partners, using social media and job sites.
- Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements.
- Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers; interviewing applicants on a consistent set of qualifications and competencies
- Improves organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices; monitoring job offers and compensation practices within the industry.
- Avoids legal challenges by understanding current legislation; enforcing regulations with managers; recommending new procedures; conducting training.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
- Accomplishes human resources and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE :
- Graduation (Preferably Engineering) with MBA or PG in Human Resources Management
- 12-15 years- experience in MNC Manufacturing or similar industries.
- People with experience in working at Executive search firms are also preferred.
- Certification or formal training in interviewing / Behavioral Based Interviewing skills is added advantage.

- Proven ability to independently drive hiring initiatives to meet the headcount requirements
- Strong business acumen and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to work with multidisciplinary business/engineering teams in a global technology industry
- History of driving results with strong collaboration skills, drive, and a willingness to go the extra mile
- Fluent communication skills facilitating collaboration with own team, internal business leaders and external stakeholders to attract the right talent.
- Individual must be a self-starter that requires minimum supervision, have strong planning skills and be able to deal with and balance multiple competing priorities
