Hiring a Shopper Marketing - (General Trade)
Location: Bangalore
Key Responsibilities:
- Shopper Insights: Utilize knowledge of shopper journeys and consumer behavior to identify triggers and barriers to purchase, driving offtakes in supermarkets and modern trade channels.
- Marketing Plans: Develop and execute shopper marketing plans to support sales objectives and drive growth.
- Sales Collaboration: Collaborate with sales teams to identify key opportunities and develop targeted marketing programs and promotions.
- Data Analysis: Use data analysis and market research to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for optimization within the trade/channel landscape.
- Data Management Tools: Leverage Power BI and other analytics platforms to gather, analyze, and interpret data for informed decision-making and faster course corrections.
- End-to-End Process: Own the end-to-end process of shopper marketing initiatives, including planning, execution, tracking, and reporting on key performance metrics.
- Market Monitoring: Monitor market activity and industry trends to identify areas for differentiation and competitive advantage using syndicated data.
- Innovation and Creativity: Drive innovation and creativity in shopper marketing strategies and tactics.
- Key Account Coordination: Work with Key Accounts Manager for timely closure of growth programs and POS-related activities.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Plan Quality & Achievement: Utilize data and market insights to develop programs aimed at driving growth and achieving sell-in and sell-out numbers.
- Plan Delivery: Take ownership of monthly and quarterly program planning and ensure seamless execution and timely rollout of POSM elements and trade schemes.
- Execution Efficiency: Implement impactful and easy-to-execute POSM elements and optimize schemes and promotions to maximize effectiveness.
- Modern Trade Programs: Plan and close programs to ensure POS growth, share of shelf, planogram, and opportunity understanding.
- Distributor ROI: Optimize distributor ROI by aligning resources with scheme charters and ensuring timely implementation to drive sales growth.
- Opportunity Identification: Utilize syndicated data and market insights to inform adaptive marketing strategies and drive market share and penetration in the GT channel.
- Quality Analysis: Conduct 360-degree analysis of programs to ensure minimum standards of quality and effectiveness.
- Agility & Course Correction: Use data and insights to understand performance, course-correct as necessary, and ensure delivery of desired results.
