Roles & Responsibilities:

- Be the primary point of contact for the partner engagement, manage senior partner expectations, align delivery to partner requirements

- Lead a team of analysts on research concepts, deliverables and quality. Continually enhance depth and quality of work delivered

- Be hands-on with project delivery and manage both primary research and competitive intelligence projects as required. When required, conduct analysis based on research data, by applying various statistical concepts/ techniques like multiple regression, factor, cluster analysis, etc with the help of tools like SPSS

- Bring to bear on projects primary market research expertise (research & questionnaire design, sampling, data analysis & reporting, weighting, insights generation).

- Understand and develop subject-matter expertise in the domain in which the Company operates and bring this to bear in project delivery

- Coach and guide team in terms of technical and managerial skills

Education and Experience

- Bachelor’s and post-graduate qualification from top-tier institutions. MBA degree preferred.

- 7-10 years of relevant work experience in a research & insights role, either in an analytics function/ KPO of a MNC or with a reputed research agency

- Proven experience in independently handling client engagements and expectations

- Proven experience in leading, coaching and managing teams

- Very sound knowledge of key analysis/ statistical concepts & hands on experience with tools like SPSS.

- Meaningful experience in handling various kinds of research projects, client servicing, data interpretation & insights generation. Comfort/ exposure to either all or some of the various techniques of primary research such as customer satisfaction, segmentation, brand & advertising research, pricing & product related research

- Prior Experience in financial services is also valued.

Skills/Knowledge

- Demonstrated team leadership and client management capability. Comfort with unstructured situations.

- Strong analytical ability, Flair for quantitative data analyses and interpretation

- Ability to process data to draw insights, answering “so what” questions about data

- Comfort with making intelligent assumptions to estimate not-so-easily available data points

- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills. Comfort with Word, Excel and PowerPoint

- Comfort with statistical tools like SPSS, SAS, etc

- Attention to detail, especially in all aspects of report making from research to preparation of presentation
