We are looking for a "RTR Accounting Specialist" for a leading chemical company.

Job Location is Airoli, Mumbai.

Job Description :

- Ensure that accounting activities are in compliance with accounting law and regulations (GAAP/IFRS). Guide business if needed.

- Guarantee that global financial policies are being applied. Communicate with relevant stakeholders.

- Supports in implementing improvements and global guidelines

- Work closely with Supervisor, Business, RAC/Satellite Manager, Consolidation and External reporting department

Responsibilities :

- Responsible for the execution of reliable, timely and complete specialist accounting tasks and activities as recorded in the Global Process Design and Standard Operating Procedures-)

- Provide quality assurance on Balance Sheet (BS), Profit & Loss (P&L) and specifications for all Group provisions (Pension, Environmental, Rationalization, Decommissioning and Other Sundry)

- Review BS and P&L figures and variances on a monthly basis

- Create adjust specification (A-Forms)

- Prepare and perform monthly analysis to present to External reporting department

- Maintain, monitor and update the Environmental provision database (in excel)

- Maintain, monitor and update the Management Equity Plan database (in excel)

- Calculate and post quarterly adjustments to the Pension provisions and Management Equity plan

- Support the pension/environmental accounting specialist with the annual pension valuation process

- Support the pension/environmental accounting specialist with the annual environmental review process.

- Actively provide the group auditor (PWC) with required information

- Support local RAC's and reporting department with quarterly holiday accrual

- Analyze salaries and wages on a monthly basis (group wide)

- Responsible that all the month end closing deadlines are met
