Specialist - Procurement - Jewellery/Gemstone Business

Responsibilities:

- Manage the entire purchase order process, from requisition to finalization and delivery.

- Conduct thorough supplier evaluations to identify reliable and cost-effective sources for gemstones, precious metals, and other materials.

- Develop and negotiate favorable contractual terms with suppliers, ensuring optimal pricing and delivery conditions.

- Analyze market trends and source data to make informed procurement decisions.

- Maintain accurate procurement records and reports.

- Collaborate effectively with internal teams (design, production, finance) to ensure smooth procurement processes.

- Prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and procurement regulations.

Qualifications:

- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a procurement role within the jewellery and gemstone industry (preferred) or a related field.

- Proven track record of successfully managing purchase orders, supplier evaluations, and contract negotiations.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and implement cost-saving solutions.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
