Specialist - Procurement

What would you be expected to deliver?

This role will require scaling the buy side of non scrap & metallics categories which includes ferroalloys, additives, nodularizers, etc. These categories have immense scope in terms of ensuring a complete experience for the customer & providing Now Purchase with the requisite blended margins.

- Scoping out using primary and secondary research which subcategories & SKUs could be tackled in what manner & plan of action for the same in terms of the problem & solution

- Ready to start off as an individual contributor & building a team which can tackle all aspects around domestic, imports & private labelling.

- Build OEM partnerships across India & the world for the relevant SKUs which could lead to exclusivity, co-creation or private labelling.

- Exploring potential acquisition opportunities of brands & assets.

- Working closely with P&L leaders in different regions to ensure correct demand planning & pricing to ensure maximum sales & margins.

Qualification and Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant Engg Field. A relevant Masters or an MBA is a big plus.

- 5+ years of work experience

- Experience of starting up or working with startups is a plus - Excellent communication and negotiation skills for effective interaction with suppliers, government agencies, and internal teams.
