Position Description: Performance Management System (PMS) Specialist

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Performance Management System (PMS) Specialist to join our Human Resources team. The PMS Specialist will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing performance management systems and processes that support the company's strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in performance management, excellent analytical skills, and a commitment to driving employee engagement and development.
Key Responsibilities:
Performance Management System Development:
Design and implement performance management systems and processes that align with organizational goals.
Develop performance appraisal tools and methodologies.
Performance Evaluation:
Coordinate and manage the performance appraisal process.
Provide guidance and training to managers and employees on performance evaluation techniques and best practices.
Goal Setting and Alignment:
Facilitate the goal-setting process to ensure individual and departmental objectives are aligned with organizational goals.
Monitor and review employee goals and performance metrics.
Employee Development and Coaching:
Identify development needs through performance data analysis and provide recommendations for employee development programs.
Support managers in coaching and providing constructive feedback to employees.
Continuous Improvement:
Continuously evaluate and improve performance management processes and tools.
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in performance management.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Analyze performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Prepare and present reports on performance management metrics to senior management.
Compliance and Documentation:
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all performance management activities.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to performance management.
Qualifications:
Masters's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
4-6 years of experience in performance management, preferably in the manufacturing or industrial sector.
Strong knowledge of performance management principles, tools, and best practices.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in HR software and performance management systems.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Certification in performance management or related areas (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) is a plus.
