Key Responsibilities:
- Resolve employee inquiries and complex payroll issues
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors
- Manage data integration between Workday and SAP systems
- Ensure adherence to payroll timelines and procedures
- Perform payroll reconciliations and maintain payroll blueprint
- Generate and analyze payroll reports
- Monitor bank transfers and address any rejected transactions
- Conduct basic testing of payroll system changes
- Research and resolve escalated payroll problems
- Submit payroll tax documents (lodgments)
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or post-secondary degree
- Payroll certification
- 3-5 years of payroll experience in the Middle East
- Experience with SAP and Workday integrations (preferred)
- Ability to obtain ACE Associate certification within a year
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Working knowledge of regional and local payroll regulations
- Understanding of international employee assignments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated team player with strong organizational skills
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Ability to work overtime during peak periods
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential data
