Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential areas for expansion.

- Develop and execute strategic plans to enter new markets and increase market share.

- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create targeted expansion campaigns.

- Build and maintain relationships with potential partners, distributors, and customers in new markets.

- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.

- Provide insights and recommendations for product positioning and pricing strategies in new markets.

- Identify and evaluate potential risks and challenges in new markets and develop contingency plans.

- Monitor and report on the performance of expansion initiatives and adjust strategies as needed.

- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote expansion efforts.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of market expansion activities.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.

- Proven experience in market expansion, business development, or sales strategy.

- Demonstrated success in driving market expansion and achieving sales targets.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

- In-depth knowledge of market research and analysis methods.

- Experience in negotiating and finalizing business partnerships and agreements.

- Proficiency in using CRM and market analysis tools.

- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail.

- Ability to travel as needed to support expansion activities.

- Strong networking and relationship-building skills.

- Adaptability and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

- Fluent in written and spoken English; additional language proficiency is a plus.

Note:

- 3+ years of experience selling to enterprises / large SMEs / educational institutions

- Exceptional communication + presentation skills and very high level of energy, integrity and perseverance

- Prior experience in an expansion / city launch role in a startup is preferred

Education: MBA from Tier 2/3 B school or Engineering from premier institute
