A leading Digital Media organization is looking for SEO Specialist . Position will be based at Mumbai - Candidate will help define and manage the SEO programs, tracking and reporting for TWC, TWC Group Companies & Clients.
- This challenging role will require you to develop brand awareness, generate inbound traffic and cultivate leads and sales.
- To succeed in this role, in addition to relevant SEO experience, you will need a passion for copywriting, content strategy, information architecture and usability. You will also have to be familiar with tools such as SEOMoz, Google Webmaster Tools, Google Analytics etc.
Responsibilities :
You will plan and execute a full spectrum of SEO activities including conducting website audits, keyword research, page- and site-level optimization, content strategy, link-building strategy, competitive assessment and technical troubleshooting.
Your primary responsibilities will include :
- Identifying areas of improvement & opportunities in natural search
- Monitor and report on organic search metrics and analyze trends
- Creating website traffic, ranking, and conversion reports for planning and strategy
- Creating flow documents, specifications, guidelines for design & technical teams
- Build understanding & train teams on SEO best practices to be followed within the organization
- Working with the development teams to improve site structure, optimize page layout, and indexing and rankings
- Take full ownership of websites performance in organic search.
- Work with sales and project management to scope/estimate SEO engagements for prospective clients.
- Liaison with colleagues of online marketing department (Content, SEM and Social Media) to maximize synergy and results.
- Stay abreast of the ever-changing landscape of search engine algorithms and SEO tactics to ensure compliance with best practices.
- SEO Copywriting (when necessary). Optimize on-site content for maximum visibility and search engine ranking.
- Assist in day-to-day SEO operations including site enhancements, content development, link building campaigns, and analysis.
- Manage / execute extensive In-bound link development from relevant sites and directories.
- Analyse performance metrics and convey recommendations appropriately to project stakeholders
Skills & Experience :
- Experience with keyword analysis, research & targeting
- Develop a strategic approach to website copy, on-page elements, meta tags, etc.
- Familiarity with SEO concepts & best practices like canonicalization, search ranking factors, search friendly URL's, web analytics and keyword research
- Able to analyse performance metrics and convey recommendations appropriately to project stakeholders
- 5+ years of SEO experience in web environment, preferably on high-volume traffic sites.
- Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, FLASH, AJAX, and CSS and optimization techniques for search friendliness
- Substantial experience with the web development process;
- Sound technical understanding of how search engines, web servers and user agents work;
- Comfort working with content management systems;
- A track record of successful SEO program execution in both B2B and B2C settings,
- Experience with App Store Optimisation techniques for both Android and iOS app store
- Excellent presentation, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Proven project planning, organizing, communication and delegation skills
- Agency experience is preferred
Salary Range: 8 - 10 LPA
