Global Mobility & Compensation & Benefits Specialist

Summary:

This role is responsible for overseeing both international employee relocations and the design of competitive compensation & benefits packages that attract and retain talent globally.

Responsibilities:

Global Mobility:

- Manage the entire global mobility process for employees relocating internationally (pre-assignment, relocation, repatriation).

- Advise employees on immigration, tax implications, and cultural adjustments.

- Coordinate work permits and visa applications.

- Develop cost projections and budgets related to employee relocations.

- Partner with external vendors on relocation services (housing, language training).

- Ensure compliance with immigration and tax regulations.

Compensation & Benefits:

- Conduct market research to determine competitive salary and benefit offerings for various global positions.

- Design and implement a global compensation philosophy considering cost-of-living adjustments.

- Manage and adapt benefits programs to comply with regulations and employee needs across different countries.

- Analyze program data and identify areas for improvement.

- Communicate C&B programs effectively to a global workforce.

Qualifications:

- Mater's degree in Human Resources, International Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Proven experience in both Global Mobility and Compensation & Benefits

- Strong understanding of immigration and tax laws across various jurisdictions.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.

- Experience working in a cross-cultural environment.

- Proficiency in HR information systems, relocation tools, and relevant software.

- Fluency in a second language (a plus).

Additional Considerations:

- This role likely requires frequent travel.

- Knowledge of international assignments (expatriates, inpatriates) is crucial.

- Understanding of global mobility best practices and cost management strategies is important.
