Job Description: Financial Planning Specialist
Role Overview:
- The Financial Planning Specialist serves as an Investment Specialist PMS, responsible for driving concept selling and achieving product-level targets across equity and debt products within the region.
- The role involves leveraging distributor relationships, conducting training sessions, and ensuring consistent product knowledge across the sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
Concept Selling and Product Targets:
- Implement concept selling strategies across the region.
- Achieve specified product-level targets for equity and debt products in the Zone.
Training and Knowledge Enhancement:
- Conduct regular training and knowledge sessions for internal employees to ensure continuous knowledge upgrading.
- Keep the sales team updated with relevant product information and ensure a unified communication approach (Common Pitch).
Distributor Engagement:
- Organize regular huddles, conference calls, and meetings with distributors to effectively articulate product offerings and market outlook.
- Position products in the best interest of stakeholders and simplify complex aspects of the capital market.
Sales Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with the sales team to enhance distribution spread and product mix.
- Include D & E counters in branch visits to actively engage with sales teams.
Feedback and Support:
- Provide critical ground feedback to enhance business activities and improve customer service.
- Collaborate with the Product team to create simpler communication strategies for focused products.
Market Insights and Feedback:
- Offer market feedback to the Investments team regarding competition product positioning and sales performance.
- Address distributor and investor queries on funds and products.
Client Management:
- Accompany Sales Relationship Managers (RMs) in key distributor meetings, particularly with Advisory IFAs, UHNIs, and Private Wealth RMs.
- Manage relationships with key Family Offices and UHNIs in the respective region closely.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Relevant certifications such as CFA, CFP, or equivalent are advantageous.
- Proven experience in investment management, financial planning, or wealth management.
- Strong understanding of equity and debt products, capital markets, and financial planning strategies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
