Specialist - Data Science - IT

Role: Data Science Specialist

Experience Range: 5-8 years

Responsibilities:

- Experience with collecting and managing data, data wrangling, preparation and manipulation

- Understanding of data science techniques including machine learning and statistical modelling

- Understanding of and experience with various data science tools / workbenches available in the market such as SAS, SAS viya, DataRobot, Data IQ, Domino Data Lab, etc.

- Work with technical leads (onshore and offshore) and clients to understand and provide subject matter expertise on data science tools and techniques

- Participate in requirement gathering sessions with stakeholders along with data / program lead and business systems analysts

- Develop sophisticated yet simple interpretations and communicate insights to clients that lead to quantifiable business impact

- Adhere to the development standards and best practices setup with regards to quality of deliverables

- Adhere to the security standards set by the client

- Ensure delivery is done in time and in adherence to quality standards/gates.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Hands-on experience with data science tools such as SAS viya, DataRobot, Data IQ, Domino Data Lab, etc.

- Experience with data science languages such as Python, R, SQL, etc.

- Experience within the FSI industry preferable

- Experience with automated migration / integration of SAS to other Data Science workbenches preferable
