Looking for candidates from Telecom, Banking and Internet Domain.

Required Skills:

- 9-13 years experience managing high traffic web applications with high availability and scalability.

- Strong knowledge and skills in IT infrastructure - Security Appliances, Network devices, Load Balancers, Intel Based Servers, SAN & NAS based Storage Systems, Linux Operating System

- Experience in managing Virtualization technologies, VMWare, Hyper-V

- Demonstrated experience in Data centre - building and Management

- Strong knowledge and skills in managing Enterprise Technology 24x7 which is in a Heterogeneous Environment

- Strong understanding of Open Source Technologies

- Good communication skills and ability to build successful relationships across a wide range of IT teams and senior management

- Excellent planning and organizational skills

- Highly motivated, discipline and able to work in team environment

Role Description:

- Setup and ensure undisrupted functioning of Data Center Infrastructure

- Hardware and equipment maintenance, administration of servers, database infrastructure and the supervision of systems administration personnel

- Working closely with the Senior Management Team to setting up and maintaining Data Centres for Large Databases and Applications for Internet Portals

- Manage data centre deployments, migrations and consolidation projects

- Evaluate layout of current and expansion areas within the data centre

- Manage vendors and contractors to perform work in the data centres

- Maintain accurate inventory of all items contained within the data centre

- Define the best practices and processes that can be incorporated into the operational running of the data centre

- Plan, implement and manage disaster recovery solutions

- Create and Implement Application and Network Security Policies

- Set-up and stabilize IT services, SLA management, Outage management

- Vendor and Customer relationship management

- Aligning IT with business

- Business Process Improvement & Organizational Efficiency and Effectiveness

Must have worked on large consumer facing internet business for at least 4 years which is deployed in a cloud environment with multiple technology layers.

Formal Education & Certification:

- University degree in the field of computer science or another rigorous discipline. An advanced degree in one these fields is a plus. Years of experience can be relaxed and years or two for exceptional candidates from premium colleges
