- Aviso is seeking a Rockstar cybersecurity specialist, to work hand-in-hand with Aviso's operations and development teams. Reporting directly to the VP, Engineering, you will be working with the founders, sales, product, and customer success teams to ensure that customers are delighted with Aviso solutions. You should be passionate about solving hard real-world enterprise problems by architecting, building and operating a highly scalable infrastructure.

What you will be doing :

- You will safeguard Aviso's IT assets by identifying and solving potential and actual security problems.

- You will protect Aviso systems by defining access privileges, control structures, and resources.

- You will recognize problems by identifying abnormalities; reporting violations.

- You will implement security improvements by assessing the current situation; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.

- You will determine security violations and inefficiencies by conducting periodic audits.

- You will carry out system upgrades by implementing and maintaining security controls.

- You will be responsible for maintaining quality service by following organization standards

- You will own end-to-end all technical aspects of security and privacy for the Aviso SaaS solution. You will establish security as a core ingredient of how we build.

- You will enhance systems to monitor for external intrusions, attacks, and hacks.

- You will be responsible for System administration, Network security, Information security policies, Firewall policies and administration, Encryption and SSO (SAML,OAUTH).

What you bring :

- A Degree in Computer Science from a top University or equivalent with strong academic performance.

- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in the cybersecurity realm.

- AWS Security Specialist certification preferred.

- Hands-on experience analyzing high volumes of logs, network data and other attack artifacts in support of incident investigations

- Working knowledge on all aspects of Data security

- Experience with vulnerability scanning solutions

- Proficiency with any of the following: Anti-Virus, HIPS, ID/PS, Full Packet Capture, Host-Based Forensics, security tokens, and Network Security

- In-depth knowledge of architecture, engineering, and operations of at least one enterprise SIEM platform

- Understanding of mobile technology and OS (i.e. Android, iOS, Windows)
