Specialist - Content Development
Job Description:
- Understand the objective of content and its pertinence to various audiences.
- Understand the nuances of writing for international markets and deliver localized content.
- Collect inputs from stakeholders and convert it into clear, attractive copy with a distinct voice.
- Repurpose existing content to suit different needs as and when required.
Have the ability to create content in all of the following types:
- Static text.
- Static graphics.
- Dynamic graphics.
- Interactive content.
- Audio content.
- Video content.
- Edit and proofread copy as needed.
- Apply SEO principles to improve the search performance of the website.
- Give inputs to the designer regarding context and intent.
- Use CMS tools to organize and deploy content pieces.
- Write and edit clear and consistent content across earned, owned, paid, and social media for a variety of digital tactics, including emails, landing pages, websites, microsites, social networks, mobile, banners, paid search, lead nurturing programs, etc.
- Assure quality of all content deliverables and use of a consistent voice and tone throughout all digital channels and assets.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing department in the development of content strategies.
- Manage daily content and content calendars for social channels.
- Appreciates and employs the nuances in international content.
Job Specifications:
- Proven content development experience of not less than 5 years.
- Experience in tools for the development of the following types of content.
- Static text.
- Static graphics.
- Dynamic graphics.
- Interactive content.
- Audio content.
- Video content.
- Content Management Systems.
- Content Performance Analytics.
- Certification in any content related aspects will be an added advantage.
- Experience in representing data or intelligence in different forms of content.
- Experience in marketing or content agencies will be an added advantage.
- A bachelor's degree with at least three to five-plus years of experience in developing content for multiple channels.
- A passion for social media and understanding of user behavior and expectations in social channels.
- Demonstrates excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Knowledge and understanding of content management and publishing procedures.
- Basic technical understanding of CMS, databases, and publishing software.
- Familiarity with SEO content strategies.
- Familiarity with marketing automation, and lead-nurturing programs and software.
- Ability to interact and maintain good working relationships within a team, including presenting findings and recommendations.
- Ability to take initiative and proactively seek opportunities, identify gaps, and recommend ongoing improvements in how content can be managed.

- Number of content types developed.
- Number of content pieces developed.
- Content performance growth/ improvement.
- Number of messages developed and used.
