Job Description: Specialist - Change and Innovation (Banking)
As a Specialist in Change and Innovation within our bank, your role will be pivotal in driving transformational and strategic change initiatives. You'll align these initiatives with our bank's values and culture, enabling the delivery of critical business and strategic imperatives. Here are the key responsibilities for this role:
1. Change Management and Digital Transformation:
- Apply robust change management processes and tools to support project implementation.
- Drive the bank's digital transformation initiatives by effectively managing all aspects of changes which includes Process improvements, technology improvements.
- Prioritize change requests, assess their impact, and make informed decisions on accepting or rejecting changes.
- Document change management processes and create change plans.
2. Change and Innovation Strategy:
- Develop an effective change and innovation strategy based on a deep understanding of the bank's context.
- Leverage situational awareness to expand our services and enhance internal processes.
- Continuously identify opportunities for improvement, whether through entirely new concepts or enhancements to existing products and services.
3. Customer-Centric Approach:
- Analyze customer feedback to pinpoint areas for improvement in existing products and processes.
- Use technology to enhance efficiency and convenience for our customers.
4. Market Research and Trends:
- Stay abreast of new technologies and business trends that could impact our operations and bottom line.
- Provide strategic insights into industry, consumer behavior, and competitor trends.
5. Efficiency and Cost Optimization:
- Recommend changes to products, services, or processes that enhance efficiency without compromising quality.
- Reduce costs while aligning with the bank's objectives.
Prerequisites:
- Bachelor's degree in ICT, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or related fields from a recognized university.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably in consulting or the financial services industry.
Skills:
- Proficiency in developing and delivering comprehensive business and technology plans tailored for the financial services sector.
- Expertise in financial analysis, modeling, statistical analysis, and relevant software.
- Ability to provide strategic insights into industry trends.
- Experience with strategy development or assessment in rapidly transforming industries.
- Effective communication skills (both verbal and written) in English.
- Six Sigma Green Belt / Black belt certification is a must.
- Project management Certification will be an added advantage
