Business Intelligence Specialist


Role Summary :

- Business Intelligence Specialist is a strategic member of both the sales, marketing, and operations teams who would work directly with the VP of Sales to streamline sales processes, improve sales CRM processes, produce weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual analysis, and analyze cross-team data to improve the overall efficiency and productivity of the revenue teams.

Mandatory Skill Sets/Expertise :

- Working experience of 5-7 years in a B2B product startup or, B2B professional services company in a sales and marketing analytics role.

- Must have a deep understanding of the following platforms: HubSpot, HotJar, Google Analytics, Excel.

- Strong hold on MS Office Suite including PowerBI.

- Ability to showcase strong analytical skills.

- Ability to drive, analyze, understand various lead generation campaigns.

- Ability to capture and understand competitor data and market trends.

- Ability to understand SEO/SEM, digital marketing tools, CRM tools, data analysis tools.

- Comfortable working hands-on in a fast-paced growth environment.

Key Attributes :

- Excellent communication skills (written as well as verbal).

- Has exceptional, practical knowledge of both Excel and PowerBI.

- Demonstrated ability to collect, analyze, and segment market data.

- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.

- Strong business acumen.

- Can work independently without supervision or guidance.

- Has worked with HubSpot in the past.

Key Responsibilities :

- Understand the sales strategy of the organization and objectively streamline processes whereby assisting in achieving the sales target.

- Develop a deep understanding of prospect behavior and needs through analysis of data and evaluating market trends.

- Provide analysis for the VP of Sales and Head of Marketing to execute data driven, lead gen strategies to drive customer acquisition and retention.

- Organize and analyze multi-channel data, including but not limited to Google Analytics, HotJar, LinkedIn, HubSpot CRM, HubSpot Marketing, etc., to generate deep customer insights to enhance sales and marketing productivity and effectiveness.

- Compile performance data based on inputs from each lead source to measure both efficacy and cost effectiveness of each channel.

- Ensure HubSpot CRM is being updated and maintained.

- Analyze and segment customer data to identify target audiences, personalize marketing communications and optimize campaign effectiveness.

- Responsible for ensuring process adoption and compliance.

- Create reporting and dashboards indicating key metrics for the leadership team.

- Develop and maintain comprehensive dashboards and reports to track marketing and sales campaign performance and business impact.

- Develop and maintain utilization timetables for each project to assess the pricing model currently in use by the sales team.

- Analyze marketing and sales data to identify trends, forecast outcomes, and provide recommendations for enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.

- Create a realistic revenue forecast for each month, quarter, year, and next year.

- Ownership of analytical tools and platforms ensuring data accuracy and accessibility for decision-making.

- Collaborate closely with the marketing and revenue teams to ensure data consistency and leverage insights for strategic initiatives.

- Lead the analytical aspect of marketing technology implementations and integrations, ensuring seamless data flow and reporting capabilities.

- Solve unstructured business challenges with innovative analytical approaches, directly impacting strategic decisions and business outcomes.
