Specialist - Insurance Strategy & Channel Development
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement business plans and strategies for insurance products and services.
- Analyse market trends, customer needs, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes to identify new opportunities and challenges.
- Liaise with insurers and negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions.
- Monitor and manage commission and payout processes and ensure timely and accurate reconciliation.
- Coordinate with internal teams such as sales, marketing, operations, finance, and legal to ensure smooth delivery of insurance solutions.
- Manage and develop relationships with existing and potential insurance partners and channels, such as banks, brokers, aggregators, etc.
- Provide training, guidance, and support to insurance partners and channels on product features, benefits, and processes.
- Evaluate the performance of insurance partners and channels and provide feedback and recommendations for improvement.
- Prepare and present reports and insights on insurance business performance, trends, issues, and opportunities.
Requirements:- Bachelor's/PG degree in business, finance, insurance, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the insurance industry, with at least 3 years in a managerial or strategic role
- In-depth knowledge of insurance products, services, markets, regulations, and best practices
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software tools
