Purpose of the position:
To lead the disciplinary management & employee relations function for quick and effective resolution of disciplinary issues and managing employee relations.
Required Knowledge, Skill, and Experience.
1. Experience in resolving disciplinary issues
2. Statutory knowledge with respect to management of employee relations
3. Knowledge of labour laws prevailing in the country
4. Minimum 12 years' experience in HR or legal with 6+ years' experience in managing disciplinary management.
Key Result areas
1. Handling Disciplinary Investigation/Preliminary inquiry to find prima facia in the case then draft Investigation report with recommendation for Disciplinary Committee.
2. Drafting Show Cause notice/Warning Letter/Termination order.
3. Handling Whistle Blower complaints - supporting and advising concern SHR / ZHR into inquiry.
4. Handling Absconding cases and checking if all due diligence was carried out before Termination.
5. Handling BGV cases.
6. Advisory role to HR in Labour law related matters and implementation of new projects.
7. Coordinating with Internal Audit team by assisting them in Investigation in cases related to financial and Integrity issues.
8. Drafting various Grid related to financial fraud / cash misappropriation / Integrity/ Conduct/ Insubordination/ work negligence/ various actions keeping in mind Major and Minor misconduct.
9. Co-ordinating with Internal stakeholders in complex cases and advising respective SHR/ZHR about the requirements of detail Investigation.
10. Co-ordinating with external legal counsel and seek secondary advice in complex cases and implementation of strategy to mitigate litigation.
11. Advising in ER cases including disciplinary matters, labour grievances and complicated employment matters, proceedings before statutory authority etc., Further conducting independent investigations in complex cases, reviewing and producing investigation reports with recommendation.
