The Role: Senior Director - Internal Audit, Data Analytics and IT Audit
The Location: Gurgaon, India
The Team: This role is for an experienced IT Audit and Data Analytics professional to join the S&P Global - Internal Audit Team. The Senior Director - Data Analytics & IT Audit is responsible for leading and managing the Data Analytics and IT Audit teams. This leadership role will lead the IT Audit specialists to provide risk based audit coverage for the Company's IT operations and information security practices, as well as build and lead a Data Analytics team to support the Internal Audit analytics capabilities to enhance audit delivery and continuous auditing practices.
The Impact: This position will be responsible for leading the data analytics and technology auditing strategy for Internal Audit, while partnering closing with various internal stakeholders as the Company's transforms into a data and technology firm. This role will also be responsible for improving the Internal Audit value proposition to the Audit Leadership Team by utilizing various emerging Technologies such as A.I. and Big Data to improve audit quality and efficiency.
This position will be a key member of the Audit Leadership Team and reports directly to the Vice President, Global Auditor who is responsible for leading and managing the Internal Audit function globally. The Global Auditor reports to the S&P Global Chief Audit & Risk Executive.
This is a global role based in India. Will require approximately 20-30% travel to the US to meet with key stakeholders, Audit management, and team members.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the IT Audit team to provide comprehensive risk based audit coverage for the Company's IT operations and information security practices including but not limited to infrastructure, application development, cloud computing, and cybersecurity
- Develop Audit coverage for new & emerging technologies; block chain, RPA, artificial intelligence, etc.
- Establish and lead the Data Analytics Audit strategy and implementation
- Lead and manage teams with the diverse background of core IT auditors and Data analysts
- Develop strategies to champion data analytics extensively in the planning and scoping of Audits, and Audit risk assessment practices
- Propose and implement techniques to enhance audit testing of structured and unstructured data leveraging new technologies & tools
- Engage with key partners in the Data and IT organization
- Build the use of predictive analytics and robotics process automation to support audit quality and efficiency, where applicable
- Develop training and usage of Data Analytics capabilities within Internal Audit staff
- Build and Maintain Internal Audit Data Analytics architecture, tools and techniques
- Identify and develop innovative and re-usable analytics solutions/applications which can be used by the stakeholders to drive auditor - self-service-
- Keep abreast of new industry tools and emerging technologies which may offer improved functionality or a more efficient and effective ability to deliver audit analytics solutions
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with at least 10 years of experience in IT Auditing and 5+ years of experience in Data Analytics
- CISA (required), or any meaningful Big Data/Analytics certification preferred
- Experience with software such as Tableau, Python or SQL
- Understanding of new and emerging technologies & tools
- Knowledge of Automation technologies like (Blue Prism or Hadoop)
Preferred Qualifications:
- IT Auditing experience (required)
- Data Analytics experience
- Big 4 IT Consulting experience
