The Role: You will be responsible for contributing to the growth in revenue of S&P Global Market Intelligence in India by developing new business.

The Career Opportunity: This is a junior position within our sales team, being paired with a successful senior sales executive to learn from them while contributing to their productivity. The expectations are to quickly (1-2) years move into a more senior role with an individual, rather than shared, goal.

Your Skills: It is expected that you will have shown sales track record, with solution sales experience. Also it is expected that would have good knowledge of Financial industry overall.

Responsibilities:
- Revenue Generation- Work together with a Senior Sales executive to bring in new revenue from both existing and new clients
- Manage client proposals and presentations
- Utilize CRM to monitor pipeline and leads status for goal management
- Develop and consultatively sell appropriate product/ service solutions and nurture references.
- Focus on new client acquisition as well as rapidly growing users within existing account
Qualifications:
- Strong written skills for the preparation of client proposals and internal communication.
- Broad based knowledge of Capital Markets and Financial Services Industry overall.
- 2-3 years of successful track record in sales or client facing role in finance/consulting.
- Act as a role model for the team. Share best practices and coach others in constructive positive manner.
- Ability to multi task and be flexible. Reevaluate regularly. Always be prioritizing activity that will best meet client and revenue goals.
- Understand make up of client base by segment and user type to assist sales team in putting in place territory plans to meet objective.
