Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Zonal (South) Head of Channel Sales to lead our Merchant Sales division. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Micro loans/ LAP/BL/PL/ Microfinance sector, a proven track record of driving sales growth, and the ability to lead and motivate a large sales team. This role involves strategic planning, developing new business opportunities, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets across the nation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve organizational goals.
- Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.
- Lead, manage, and mentor a national sales team of 100+ members.
- Foster a positive and high-performance culture within the team.
- Oversee the development and execution of sales plans and initiatives.
- Expand the company's presence in new regions and markets.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Work closely with other departments, including Marketing, Product Development, and Operations, to support sales initiatives.
- Coordinate with regional and branch managers to align sales strategies and objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the microfinance or financial services industry.
- Proven track record of successfully leading large sales teams and achieving sales targets.
- Ability to travel extensively as required.
