Looking for Consulting / Experts in Sourcing & Procurement | Fortune 100 Cosnulting Company (3-10 yr)
Organisation : A leading Management consulting firm
Location : Gurgaon / Mumbai
Position : Consultant /Sr. Consultant / Manager
Experience : 3 - 9 yrs
Specific experiences will include:
- 5-7 years of progressive business and consulting experience (for Manager)
- Full-time MBA from a reputed institute.
- Must have sourcing & procurement experience in EPC, Power, Infrastructure, Automotive and steel industries
- Demonstrated expertise in any of the following Sourcing and Procurement specializations:
- Strategic Sourcing
- Global or Alternate Sourcing
- Procure-to-Pay Process Transformation,
- Supplier Relationship Management including Contract Management,
- Purchasing and Spend Management Solutions
- Category management in categories such as steel, cement, structurals, pipes, valves, fittings & procurement cost reduction (desirable)
- Experience in a consulting firm is preferable
Key responsibilities of the role may include:
- Project Delivery: Managing engagement risk, project economics including planning and budgeting, managing account receivables, defining deliverable content, ensuring buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client.
- Business Development: Developing and maintaining contact with top decision makers at key clients, organizing and leading pursuit teams, participating and leading aspects of the proposal development process.
- People Development: Performing the role of counselor and coach, providing input and guidance into the firms staffing process, and actively participates in staff recruitment and retention activities.
- Domain Development: Development of assets and methodologies, development of point-of-view, research or white papers, support development of marketing collateral, public speaking and publication in industry periodicals.

- This individual must be comfortable working at the highest levels of client organizations and interacting closely with the “C” level executives in a range of environments
- The individual should demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills
- The individual should be comfortable functioning in a broadly positioned and highly diverse consulting firm
- The individual should possess an impressive executive demeanor, a team oriented and collaborative approach, and excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and writing capabilities
- The individual should have demonstrated entrepreneurial instinct
- The individual should possess and demonstrate high integrity and credibility as perceived by all those with whom s/he will work
- The individual should have strong intellect coupled with proficient commercial instincts
- The individual should be diplomatic, flexible, and have a good team approach.
