Sourcing Manager - Oil/Chemicals/Paints

Position :- Manager - Sourcing

Location :- Mahape, Navi Mumbai

Reporting to :– Sr. Manager – Supply chain

Job Profile

- Sourcing of Raw Materials, Packing Materials, Traded Goods and Services .

- Coordinate and execute Export Orders.

- Establish and implement inventory norms to ensure lower requirement of working capital.

- Develop and maintain procedures and systems to meet organisational needs.

- Contribute the purchasing perspective to cross functional teams in order to derive better product quality at competitive price

Accountabilities

- Selection, evaluation and development of subcontractors.

- Ensure compliance of all materials to local statutory laws and regulations.

- Plan and execute Raw Material and Packing Material requirements to prevent stock outs and optimise inventory levels.

- Lead, motivate and inspire the sourcing team to achieve personal and organization’s growth

Please note, Job holder would be responsible for more of Procurement and less of Planning

Qualification:-

- BE Chemical with MBA Or BSc / MSc (Chemistry) with Additional qualification in imports(PG degree preferred)

Experience Req:-

- 8 years in similar industry (Oil, Chemicals, Specialities, Paints)

Specification:-

- In depth Knowledge of Chemical Purchase, packed and Bulk

- Basic knowledge of long term and short term sourcing.

- Knowledge of PurchaseTools, Team pleayer with good analytical skills

- Good knowledge in ERP.
