Sourcing Manager - Corporate Services
Job purpose
- To manage Sub Categories of Corporate Services spend like Professional Services, Contingent Labour, IT, FM etc. across the various divisions of the company within a country.
Major accountabilities
- Analyzes the expenditure base to identify cost reduction opportunities; builds, documents, and continuously updates/maintains local supply market knowledge.
- Ensures optimum implementation of Category strategies in businesses, in close collaboration with site stakeholders and project leaders.
- Manages day-to-day business relationships of local suppliers.
- Ensure timely closure of PRs and POs within the stipulated time for the assigned categories
- Ensure the purchases are from the Approved Supplier List
- Assembles strategy for implementation of cross-divisional contracts, including methodology and reporting.
- Implements tracking tools and processes according to global guidelines.
- Overviews and monitors roll-out of projects against timelines, deliverables, as well as
KPIs.
- Regularly communicates progress/issues to stakeholders and escalate roadblocks along with recommendations to resolve.
- Uses best practices in Procurement, such as Category Management and eSourcing and identifies ways to continuously improve efficiency and innovate.
- Monitors compliance and adheres to the companies Procurement policies and procedures.
- Manages customer satisfaction and governance board requirements
- Work collaboratively with business, other sourcing teams and specialist functional support (BPA, Compliance, Audit, Legal, etc.) to deliver goals
- Responsible for providing country-level input to, and validation for, Global Category Strategy and the Annual Country Plan including facilitating involvement of relevant country-level stakeholders

Impact on the organization:
- Manages local categories across Divisions within a country. Moderate- to Mid-level financial impact in terms of savings generation.
Education: Bachelor’s degree or Engineering
- MBA or similar management qualification desirable.
- Experience: 5-10 years of Procurement experience. Category management experience desirable.
- Experience in managing Technical spend categories like Laboratory equipment and supplies, Clinical services, Scientific services
- Knowledge of export/import procedures and process of India specifically around EPCG and related licenses.
